Devon World Conference and Tour Update December 2007.
Left to right at the last committee meeting
Pauline, Jo, Ron (observing), Di, Bob, Loma, Ruth, and Richard.

Hello Everyone,
It has rained over much of Australia and we are very relieved. Our cattle have the best possible start to show themselves to you in prime condition.
We have a great tour organised for you. It is now time for you to tell your friends that you are joining the Devon World Tour and Conference in Australia in September 2008. That includes our fellow Australians, if not for all of the Tour, then some segment, maybe close to you or to somewhere you’ve never been before. A brief itinerary follows this newsletter. We are still finalising the registration form which will be on our website as soon as possible. I will let you know when it is available. As Devon cattle enthusiasts we need you to make your commitment to join this tour and together we will make it a wonderful event.
We arrive in Port Macquarie on the afternoon of the 17th. That evening we will take a relaxing cruise with music playing on the Hastings River. Then, early next morning Richard is organising a gentle fitness exercise on the town green, or the alternative could be a nice walk or a swim (could be a bit chilly) along one of the many surfing beaches close by. The Conference will start at 9am on Thursday the 18th, with registration open at 7.30am. There will also be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with one another at the Reunion Dinner on the evening of the Conference.
Next newsletter, I will tell you more about our cattle and their places and people.
For now, on behalf of the committee, (Bob, Jo, Di, Richard, Vic, Phyllis, Sophie, Pauline, and Mark,) I wish you all a very safe, happy Christmas and a healthy new year.
On our last visit to the Hunter Valley we discovered a very lovely sparkling red which will go very well with the turkey and the ham and the……………!
Merry Christmas,
With Best Wishes,
Loma Wright.
