1. DNA typing is required of all bulls used in semen sales. A bull used in semen sales must also be registered in the North American Devon registry with a DNA test on file.

2. DNA typing is required of all embryo transplant calves as well as both the sire and donor dam of the ET calf. A registration certificate will be issued only when a DNA test is on file.

3. All imported animals must be registered in the North American Devon registry before their calves may be registered.

To arrange for DNA typing, contact Allison White in the North American Devon Office with the applicable pedigree information. She will generate a DNA kit for your use.

The charge for DNA service is $30 per animal with a check payable in that amount to North American Devon Association due before your kit will be provided. Allow at least two weeks for this procedure.
